Q. I saw your show on Create and craft and you said we can inport our own pictures into the shapes for the boards and was wondering can you inport verses onto the pictures? and also how dificult is it to import the pictures because you kept saying "if you are clever you can import your own pictures".

A.. 1) When in the menu and you choose Keepsake Embossing Boards – choose a shape. 2) Click on the shape and it takes you to a text editing screen where you can type any verse etc you want. 3) It is very easy to import your own pictures – just save a suitable image to a file on your computer. 4) Choose the Import your own photo – go to the file and pick the image you want. 5) Remember the program will mirror image the design to appear on both pages. 6) If you want to import text – this is not part of the programme – the way you would have to do it would be to create a picture file and then add a text box inside and then import as a picture – but as above you can do it anyway by simply typing in your text.

Q..I have bought your Finesse Wraptures , is it possible for you to send me some instructions on how to do these cards.

A..These are so simple to do, firstly take your base card (A4 Folded) and then measure your snowflake so that it sits central on top of the card mark and fold the straps so that you can affix onto the card after decorating. Using a glue pen or PVA glue and a brush, cover the whole of the snow flake on the strap in glue and then sprinkle with your glitter and set aside to dry, now take the individual snowflakes and again cover them in glue and glitter and allow to dry as before, then mount them on top of each other using Glue Gel, when dry wrap around your decorated base card then stand back in amazement.... You can also decorate with foils if you foil glue instead of the PVA.

Q.. How do i make a stand for the open heart book.

A... you can make a stand by folding the strip into four and then making it into a triangle.... but can I tell you a far easier way to make the open hearts, when you have decorated the top card make a second page of two open hearts decorate them using pretty papers and peel offs and then attach them to the back of the top card, this then gives you four points to stand the card on,

Q.. how do i make a wallet card using the Deco Art Board?

A.. To make the Wallet you make a tri-fold card using the Borderfold board, then take the edge of the card and place it onto the design of your choice, then emboss, fold the card and cut away any parts of the design you do not want, if you want to decoupage any layers, emboss the parts you want and layer up accordingly.

Q.Does the Cdrom or Dvd have to be in my computer to use the software

A.Yes... Due to the copyright protection sytem used the disc must remain in the drive in order to run the software, it can be safely removed when the program is not in use.

Question:
I can't press on the icons etc or see to read them as they come lower than the screen

Answer:
Right click anywhere on your desktop (Not on an Icon) in any blank space. A panel pops up – Choose properties (personalise in vista),Then choose Display Properties, There is a little 'Toggle' called resolution Drag it until it shows 1024 x 768.

How to Position Text or verses

When entering text when using Beauties and Beasts - first add your verse or text .
Then to position text – simply place your cursor at the beginning of your text and hit Return as many times as you wish to move your text down.

A. Click on the character you want to use then click again on the stage area again, if you hold the mouse down you can position the character where you want and release when you are happy with its location.

When using Character Walker CD I am unable to exit from the cd

The method below is the correct way to close the characterwalkers cd.

1) Choose the Button called Extra Options

2) click the exit button and follow the on screen directions

3) This takes you to the front page

3) Now just click on anywhere on the page – this exits the programme.
